![]() I am starting to wonder that, what if the files I downloaded are faulty and simply won't work because of themselves and not what I am doing? After numerous tries to which of no avail, I then research my problems online. So then I delete the files and start over, re-downloading the mods/CC. I have tried looking for it in the spots that I was told to go to, such as Buy Mode. The specific problem that I am having is once I download my mods/CC and i transfer them in the order: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods Folder/Packages, and then I extract the files using 7-Zip (Extract Here.), that I cannot find the mods/CC in my game. It would be much appreciated if someone would take the time to help me figure this whole "modding thing " out! From there I do not know the difference from animations (such as certain interactions) to files that are things such as objects, clothes, or sims. LOL I understand the basics- they are custom content. ![]() I vaguely can even comprehend what they are. Ok, so basically I practically know almost to nothing about mods.
